They participated in a variety of athletics events including 25 & 50 metre sprints, middle distance running, relays, softball throw, hard ball throw and shot putt.
The team done both themselves and the centre proud coming home with an array of gold, silver & bronze medals and ribbons.
“I had a nice day in Santry, the sun was shining all day, it was like being in Africa. I really enjoyed the relays the most” - David savage
“It was a great day and it was marvellous to win the medals which I didn’t think I would. I was a bit nervous but I did great and can’t wait to show my family my medals and am looking forward to entering again next year”- Maureen Rooney
