EVE Factor 2011

The EVE Factor finals 2011 took place on Wednesday November 16th in Liberty Hall Theatre.

Overall 25 finalists took part on the day. These finalists had battled their way through south side and north side heats.

The acts that went forward to represent our centre were Christy Fagan, Paddy Tunstead, Stephen Deegan and ‘Sister Act’ and Paul Lawlor who acted as one of the celebrity judges.

We all had a great day and enjoyed watching everyone else’s acts.

Matthew Colgan created the wonderful EVE Factor backdrop for the show. He put a lot of work into it and it looked really effective.

‘Sister Act’ we’re crowned the overall winners of the EVE Factor 2011 for their amazing performance.

Christy Fagan received a bronze medal for his beautiful rendition of ‘Crying’ by Roy Orbison.

“The show was very good this year. We won first prize for our ‘Sister Act’ performance. We put a lot of effort into it and rehearsed at least once a week. We created our own costumes and made up our own choreography. I really enjoying being part of the performing arts program in our centre.” – Yvonne Halstead

Suzanne Hyland’s drawing was chosen as the winner for the 2011 EVE Factor invites competition. These invites were circulated throughout EVE. This was a great achievement for Suzanne.
