‘Heart Filled’

We have been very busy lately getting ready for Valentine’s Day. As part of our preparations we have been creating decorations to brighten up the centre.

This project entitled ‘Heart Filled’ involved decorating a paper heart with colours, images and words that meant something to each individual.

We then took these hearts and linked them altogether and hung then outside of the artroom and canteen door.

“I liked doing this project. I painted my heart red and put glitter ontop. I love Valentine’s Day.” – Geraldine Flynn

“I thought it was very nice. I felt good that I was able to do it. I hope to do it again next year, please God.” – Helen Duffy

“It was good fun filling up my heart. I filled my heart up with dots.”- Carol O’Rourke
