The Autumn harvest is in full swing here in EVE Estuary.
Due to the wonderful weather that we have been having all of our crops are looking great and we should have a bumper harvest this year.
Yesterday a group of us decided to get out and about in the lovely autumnal air to collect berries and apples from our orchard.
The apples that we grow here in EVE Estuary are one of the best cooking apples on the market. The variety is call Bramley. This variety is nearly 200 years old and at one time was down to just one tree in the south of England.
We were picking the apples and berries for the guys in the Catering and Independent Living Skills module. They used them in some delicious baked goods for a coffee morning today.
