Special Olympics Badminton Advancement Competition

The Special Olympics badminton advancement event was held in Baldoyle Badminton Club. Three of our athletes competed in singles and doubles competitions. They played great and won 3 gold and 1 bronze medals.

“This was my first time competing in a badminton competition and I loved it.  We played 6 singles games and 3 doubles.  I was so tired by the end of the day but it was well worth it.” – Paddy Tunstead

“I had great fun at the games. I meet lots if the lads I play football against and we had good banter together. I cant wait for the next competition.” – Chris O’Neill
