Our Boat Trip to Ireland’s Eye

We were lucky enough to have chosen a very pleasant day for our trip to see Ireland’s Eye.

Our adventure started at Howth Pier. While waiting for the boat to dock we were lucky enough to see sea lions in the harbour. Howth Pier was beautiful; full of tourists enjoying the good weather and soaking up seaside atmosphere.

We boarded the boat and headed off on our journey around Ireland’s Eye. There were birds nesting on the rocks around the island. We really enjoyed seeing all of the costal wildlife. It was a great experience.

As it was coming up to Lunch time, we decided to avail of the local fish and chips….they were delicious! We sat on the pier and ate our chips. There is no better place to eat chips then by the sea, in the sunshine. It was like we were on the French Rivera!!
