The Special Olympics Ireland Games 2018 may be over, but we are still buzzing from the action packed, fun filled four days.  With competitions starting at 8.00am and discos until 9.00pm the guys never ran out of energy, they worked hard and played hard!! Team Estuary came home with 12 medals altogether; 4 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze.

“It was amazing, I was overjoyed to come first in the doubles badminton competition and second in my singles. We also got to meet celebrities and hear Christy Dignam play live, overall it was super!”

“I was in the 50 and 25 meter sprints, I ran very fast and in the end I ran all around the track, I was over the moon!”
